Tigers program is for 4-7 years old and that is 25 minutes long. Once they reach 6-7 years old they can move up into our beginners program. This one is an hour long.

No prior martial arts experience is needed. All classes, for kids, teens, and adults, are beginner-friendly and designed to help you learn and grow at your own pace.

When trying out your first classes, athletic clothes that allow free movement are perfect (e.g., t-shirt and shorts/sweatpants). Once enrolled, you’ll receive guidance on uniforms and gear.

Absolutely. Safety is always the highest priority. The lessons take place in an organized environment with professional instructors, gradual technique development, and vigilant monitoring.

No, disciplined instructors stress the importance of respect and self-control. Martial arts guide students to regulate their energy levels and relate responsibly.

Absolutely! We welcome adults of all skill levels, from beginners to experienced martial artists, for fitness, self-defense, confidence building, and stress relief. We focus on having the family train together, but each family member trains individually, so parents do not have to monitor their children and may be students themselves.

Absolutely! We offer a free trial class that you and/or your child can join to see what it is like before deciding. It is a wonderful way to find out if our community and curriculum fit your desires.

Belt advancement is not the same for everyone; it varies with each individual, their dedication, and their regularity in practice. We would rather see real growth than accelerate through the milestones. On average it takes about 3 years to get to black belt.

For the tigers class, parents may watch. For the other classes, we focus on having family trains together. We want the parents to train with their family, but they may also watch.

There is no need for a fitness prerequisite. Training in martial arts will gradually improve your fitness, and you will gain more power and stamina as you advance.

Sparring is highly encouraged. Sparring puts what you have learned and be able to apply it in constant motion. We start sparring at Camo Belt, so that you may get your basics together. It is done in a controlled setting.
